ABOUT US

Our House is a Christian church
based in Yateley, Hampshire.

We began properly in October 2016 from a very humble beginning back in 2014. Just Karen and Dave having some bible study and prayer time in their own living room on a Sunday morning! Of course there’s a long story behind it but you’d have to come along and ask us for more details - we’d love to see you and tell you all about it.

Behind everything we do as a church and as individuals is our desire to keep it REAL.

What that means to us is:

Restoring those who are broken

Equipping one another for life and service, to the glory of God

Accepting all who come looking for God

Loving unconditionally those who can do nothing for us

We want to be a church that loves people, serves people, and points people to Jesus. We are committed to following Jesus and expressing our faith in Him in an authentic and contemporary way.

IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT SUNDAYS

We believe authentic faith should include every part of our lives, not just a couple of hours once a week.  As a church we enjoy doing life together, that involves not only teaching, praying and serving but relaxing and partying together.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO I HAVE TO BE A CHRISTIAN TO COME TO CHURCH?

Not at all. Whether you have a faith or are just curious, you will be made to feel welcome. Our House is not an exclusive club but an inclusive family.

DO I HAVE TO DRESS UP?

You don't have to worry about that, just wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

DO I HAVE TO GIVE MONEY?

Only if you really want to. There is no pressure from us to contribute.
